Monday of the Gopher Classic matched Coon Rapids up with the Eden Prairie site winner of Papillion, Nebraska.  Papillion jumped out to a 2-0 lead after two innings but Coon Rapids answered back in the top of the third plating 2 runs of their own.  Papillion would score three more in the bottom of the inning and again 334 would answer back scoring another run in the top of the 4th on an RBI single from Robert Morrissette to make the score 5-3.  It would stay 5-3 until the top of the 7th when Avery Lehman would tie the game at 5 with a smash single to right center.  Papillion would walk off the team from Coon Rapids in the bottom of the 8th to end the Gopher Classic for Post 334.  Tyler George pitched 4 1/3 of strong relief to keep Coon Rapids in the game.  This was a great game and although we ended up on the losing side I was really proud of my team for battling back and tying the game.  Making it to the round of 16 in a tournament featuring 96 teams is a huge accomplishment!!
