Post 334 entered the Gopher Classic on a wave of momentum and it continued on Day one with wins over the Chester Birds and Renner, SD. In the opening game Coon Rapids pounded out 12 runs on 12 hits with Kirby Pieri (3 hits) and Avery Lehman (2 hits) leading the way with 2 RBIs a piece. 6 other hitters chipped in RBIs as well.  Bryce Peterson picked up the win throwing 5 innings.

In Game two, Nick Herold engaged in a pitcher's duel with the starting pitcher from Renner, SD.  Coon Rapids struck first in the 4th when Lehman hit a sacrifice fly to right to plate Kirby Pieri who led off the inning with a triple.  Post 334 broke the game open in hte bottom of the 6th plating 4 runs.  Nick Herold was in control from the get go pitching a complete game, giving up one run on 4 hits while striking out 9 hitters.
