Post 334 continued to ride this recent wave of momentum they are on winning their fourth game in a row; putting a hurting on Lino Lakes 15-3.  The bats came alive in the top of the 3rd plating five runs.  Alex Bui & Kirby Pieri had RBI singles and Nick Laakkonen drove in two more with a double. After giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the inning, CR answered back with a single run in the 4th. Three more runs were added in the top of the 6th with a rally started with two outs on back to back doubles from Bui and Pieri.  After a single from Avery Lehman; Laakkonen plated Pieri & Lehman with his second double of the game.  The bats stayed hot in the top of the 7th with Post 334 scoring 6 more times sending 10 batters to the plate.  Pieri, Lehman, and Dujmovic all drove in two in the inning.

Jake Dujmovic went the distance throwing all seven innings giving up 3 runs (2 earned) scattering 8 hits and striking out 4 and walking no one.  The defense was again solid backing up Dujmovic.  

Post 334 is seeming to be figuring things out just in time for the Gopher Classic to get going this weekend.  The opening game will be tomorrow morning at 8am against host team Chester Birds (Benilde) with Bryce Peterson (2-1, 3.34 ERA) getting the start. The second game will be at 1pm against Renner, South Dakota with Nick Herold (1-1, 0.33 ERA) toeing the rubber.
